Recently, Davison, Eastman, Munoz, Lederman, & Paone, P.A. (DEMLP) based in Freehold, New Jersey, conducted a case study of how the firm utilized technology with the assistance of Microsystems. The firm prides itself on using the latest technology solutions to enhance their delivery of high-end legal services to their clients.
With the vast landscape of metadata cleaning options available to legal firms, DEMLP, who was very interested in improving its cybersecurity and streamlining workflow and collaboration, partnered with an outside consultant who strongly recommended Microsystems and their technology solutions to be included in the firm’s upgrade process.
Jim Petrozelli, Information Technology Director at DEMLP, explained the reason for Microsystems. “Before moving forward with Microsystems, we were not fully leveraging technology. We were attracted to the Microsystems solution initially because of 3BClean.” 3BClean is Microsystems’ champion metadata scrubbing solution. It was 3BClean’s ability to work within an email gateway and interact with DEMLP onsite servers was what won over the firm. “Through that experience, we were introduced to DocXtools Companion and Contract Companion,” says Jim. Technology solutions are not the only champion facet of Microsystems.
“What really set Microsystems apart was the implementation,” said Matthew K. Blaine, Esq., Partner and Chair of the Firm’s Technology and Innovation Committee. “A three-person team came to our offices for a multi-day kick off. The tutorials were structured in small groups of ten people, followed by one-on-one sessions and on-the-floor training. You really felt like your concerns were being addressed.”
